Pick up from your hotel to bank of the Chao Praya River, at the River City Pier.

Embark on an open-air boat and cruise along the Chao Praya River to the place where the former capital of Thonburi was first settled in 1767 by King Taksin. Stop at Wat Arun or the Temple of Dawn. Visit the extraordinay arhitecture of its 79 meters high Prang entirely covered with pieces of porcelain from China.

Continue the trip through the klongs (canals) of Thonburi. Witness the peaceful life of the waterways residents in their on piles house scattered among numerous temples which gave the city the name of “Venice of the East”.

The second stop is made at the Royal Barge Museum which houses the most impresive barges of the Royal fleet. All these boats are made of carved wood, ornamented with gold eaves and glass mosaics. They are used in royal ceremonial processions on the river.
