The
Bridge of the River Kwai and the Railway |
| Completed in July 1943, this
eleven span concrete and steel is situated
at 4 km north from downtown of Kanchanaburi
city. Near this bridge , there is a Railway
station from where you can board on the train
and travel to Nam Tok station passing by the
Tham Krasae double Viaduct flan king the mountain

Donrak
War Cemetery |
| It is located near the Kanchanaburi’s
Railway station. It contains the remains of
6,982 Australian, British and Dutch war prisoners
who died during the construction of the Death
Railway. |

JEATH
War Museum |
The name JEATH is in
fact an acronym for the nations which participated
in local action ( Japan, England, Australia,
Thailand and Holland)
The shape of this museum is a replica of a
allied prisoners’ war camp. It contains
pictures and testimonies of the war and the
construction of the Bridge and the railway.

Ban Kao National
Museum |
| Located 35 km from Kanchanaburi city, the
museum over looks the Kwai Noi River. It is
placed beside a Neolithic burial site where
was settled an over 4,000 years ago population.
Skeleton remains, pots, jewelers made from
animal bones and others artifacts are displayed. |

Singh Historical Park |
| Beyond the Ban Kao Museum, there is Prasat
Muang Singh ruins. The site is a Khmer influenced
constructions dating from 12th century. |

Water falls |
| Many falls such as Sai Yok Noi, Sai Yok,
Erawan, Huai Khamin, etc are developed in
tourism way. Rafter, Kayaking are also possible
passing near these falls. |
